Clean roof, clear gutters, bright glazing
A blocked gutter usually only shows up when water runs over the edge and soaks the façade. Twice a year – after the blossom and after the leaves fall – is normally enough to prevent that. We clear the gutter by hand, flush it and check the outlet.
Moss on tiles comes off mechanically and with as little pressure as possible; too much pressure damages the surface and makes the tile even more vulnerable. On walkable flat roofs, roof terraces and glass roofs the job is straightforward. Steep or high pitched roofs we leave to the roofer – your safety and ours matter more than the job.

How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year with trees nearby, otherwise once – ideally in late autumn once the leaves are down.
Do you clean pitched roofs?
Only where we can work safely, typically from a ladder, a flat roof or a roof window. Anything else belongs to a roofer with scaffolding.
Do you remove moss between patio slabs as well?
Yes, that is part of façade and pressure washing – both can be done in the same visit.
