Blind and shutter cleaning – slats, roller shutters and awnings

Blinds are one of the most common complaints at a Swiss flat handover – and a nuisance to clean day to day. We clean venetian blinds, roller shutters, wooden shutters and fabric awnings including box, rail and window frame.

Every slat, on both sides

Pollen, road dust, bird droppings and rain take their toll on blinds over the years. By hand with a cloth it takes forever and rarely looks clean. We work with blind brushes, telescopic poles and demineralised water, clean every slat on both sides and take the box and rail with it.

The most economical option is to clean blinds together with the windows: same trip, same setup, one fixed price. In rented flats the job pays off above all before the handover – property managers check blinds and frames almost every time. For buildings with many windows we quote a price per blind.

Where we work

From Alberswil we cover all of Central Switzerland, the Aargau Mittelland, Zurich and Basel. Up to 40 km, travel is included in the fixed price.

Frequently asked questions

Blind & Shutter Cleaning – FAQ

What does it cost per blind?

We charge per blind depending on size, condition and type. Tell us how many and what type (slats, roller, fabric) and you get a fixed price for the whole job.

Can you clean blinds on upper floors?

Yes, up to the second floor from the ground with telescopic poles. Higher up we work from the window where that is safe.

Who pays for blind cleaning in a rented flat?

At handover it is the tenant’s job. During the tenancy periodic cleaning is often the landlord’s – it is worth checking your contract.
